Junior System Analyst / MSP IT Consultant

We are a fast-growing, and fast-paced MSP (Managed Service Provider) in Calgary, seeking an entry-level IT professional who is a well-rounded individual with solid technical skills as well as great communication skills. You will be working within team of like-minded IT professionals to deliver the technical needs of our expanding client base.

Your qualifications include:

  • Must be ready and willing to commit to continuous education, certification, and self-improvement

  • Must be willing and able to travel to client site as needed. A reliable vehicle is needed for this position

  • Able and ready to work during our business hours of 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. Flexibility is required given the nature of the business

  • Able to participate in a rotating 24x7, on-call schedule along with after hour maintenance

Your abilities and skills include:

  • Technical knowledge obtained from relevant coursework or related, no prior working IT experience is required

  • Ensure that requests are properly logged, assigned, and responded to in a timely manner and according to agreed SLA’s

  • Previous customer service experience

  • Configure, deploy & support PCs / Laptops /Smart Phones and other equipment

  • Maintain and support printers and other network peripherals

  • Malware/virus clean-up and maintenance

  • Excellent English fluency (both spoken and written)

  • Proven interpersonal, writing, and verbal communication skills

  • A valid Class 5 license

  • Full access to vehicle

  • Able to lift 30 LBS

  • Able to touch type 30 WPM

  • Currently located in Calgary

  • Legal right to work in Canada

Additional consideration will be given to candidate with the following:

  • Experience in managed services (MSP) or value-added reseller (VAR) environment

  • Industry certification such as MCSE, VCP, and CCNA

Educational requirements:

  • Diploma/degree in computer science or networking infrastructure studies.
