Intermediate Managed IT Services Consultant

If you think you could be the one we are searching for, the following are the skills and qualifications you should have:

  • Over 5 years of experience in managing and administering systems in a mission critical environment
  • Post-secondary education
  • Industry certification such as MCSE, VCP, and CCNA are considered an asset
  • Ability to learn, tech, create, and share various aspect of holistic IT solutions
  • Previous customer service experience
  • IT experience (demonstrated technical aptitude obtained either through relevant coursework or work-related activities)
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced team environment and making individual contributions to challenging projects
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently and prioritize tasks at hand
  • Fluent in English at technical level (both spoken and written)
  • Proven interpersonal, writing, and verbal communication skills
  • A valid Class 5 license
  • Own vehicle
  • Understanding that unsocial hours are part of the job
  • Able to lift 15 lb
  • Able to touch type 30 WPM
  • Legal right to work in Canada

Expertise you will bring:

  • Responsible for the daily management of on going client support
  • Solid proficiency with Microsoft Windows Server 2008-2016
  • Experience with deployment and management of Active Directory and Exchange
  • Experience with configuring and troubleshooting variety of Antivirus, Antispam, and Backup Solutions
  • Experience with configuring and maintenance of SQL servers
  • Excellent working knowledge of deployment and maintenance of web technologies in IIS and .NET
  • Advanced level of exposure to server provisioning and capacity planning
  • Advanced level of exposure to virtualization technology in VMware and Hyper-V
  • Advanced level of experience with Shell Scripting, Systems Management Software, and Monitoring Tools
  • Working knowledge of Cisco switches
  • Working knowledge of various Firewalls and Routers
